Last night we held a very convivial AGM at the White Hart, Whitchurch.  Sadly, the car park was not large, so we will look for another venue for next year.

All officers and committee members stood unopposed for the next year.  We do have a new committee member, Pam Byrne, who will be our Show Secretary. 

Our Chairman, Joy Venturi-Rose, told the meeting she will be stepping down at the 2024 AGM. Joy has been involved with Hampshire Gundogs for some 40 years and, in that time, has taken on most of the Officer’s roles as well as giving her time and expertise to all aspects of the club’s activities. Thank you, Joy. A hard act to follow, indeed.

Two major changes which you should be aware of were

1. Our financial year will now run from 1^st March to last day of February.
2. Subs have been increased to £8 single and £10 joint.

This means that your next subs will be due on 1^st March 2024 and your membership will be deemed to have lapsed if you have not paid by 31^st May.

If you have a standing order to pay your subs, please amend it NOW so that you can continue to be a member in 2024.
