Yesterday 18th May 2024 Hampshire Gundog Society held a water test at Frithfold nr Petworth.

We are as always very grateful to the Locke family for allowing us to use their ground. It is the perfect setting for water tests. It was a full day and in the morning we held NDNH Novice and Puppy.

Many thanks to our judges Mell Brookes, Nick Coates and Chris Marshall who did a fantastic job all day. Huge thanks to all those that gave up their time to come and help. We were a bit short initially but several people who had to pull out of running turned up to help. I find myself saying this each test but we really could not run these events without the helpers.

I’d like to thank Joy Venturi Rose and Chris Rose who set the tests and helped run the day and thanks to Sarah Burnell who assisted with catering and threw dummies. Thank you to all the competitors who came and supported the club .
